Nigeria’s headline inflation rate dropped to 23.71 per cent in April 2025, down from the 24.23 per cent recorded in March 2025, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has reported.

This was announced in NBS’ Consumer Price Index (CPI) report released on Thursday.

According to the report, annual food inflation also eased to 21.26% in April from 21.8% recorded in March and core price growth cooled to 23.39% in April 2025 from 24.4% in March 2025.
