High Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom, displayed a sense of unity and support for his wife, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on Tuesday during a homecoming rally held in Ihima, Kogi Central, in honour of his wife, the suspended lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial District of Kogi State at the Senate.

This is as Chief Uduaghan arrived in Kogi State to attend the homecoming rally of his wife. The New Diplomat reports that the development shows the couple’s unyielding spirit amid current political waters, including the suspension of Akpoti-Uduaghan from the Senate and a recall petition.

As Chief Uduaghan arrived in Ihima, the atmosphere erupted with excitement. Crowds lined the streets, waving banners and cheering as the Alema of Warri stepped out to lead the procession.

His stature as a prominent traditional Chief from Delta State and a philanthropist known for his contributions to the Niger Delta added a regal dimension to the event.

It would be recalled that Chief Uduaghan had stood solidly behind his wife, Natasha, especially after she accused the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, of sexual harassment.

In a display of solidarity, the Alema of Warri Kingdom had publicly voiced his support for his wife. He not only reaffirmed his commitment to her but also accompanied her to the red chamber, where they shared an affectionate kiss, symbolizing their unity during tumultuous times.
