United States President, Donald Trump has expressed his condolences over the death of former world heavyweight boxing champion, George Foreman.

The New Diplomat had reported that the legendary two-time world champion turned preacher died on Friday night at the age of 76.

Reacting to Foreman’s passing, President Trump described the deceased as a “great person, with a personality that was bigger than life”.

In a post on his Truth Social account on Saturday, Trump, who said George Foreman will be missed, expressed his condolences to the family.

He wrote, “George Foreman is dead. What a GREAT FIGHTER!!! He had, without question, the heaviest and biggest punch in the history of boxing.

“With the exception of Ali, when you got hit, you went down. He was something really Special, but above all, he was a Great Person, with a personality that was bigger than life.

“I knew him well, and he will be missed. Warmest condolences to his wonderful family”!!!
