The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took a dangerous twist on Wednesday as there was breakdown of law and order at the party’s National Headquarters, Wadata Plaza, in Abuja.
What used to be a war of words between the factional leaders morphed into fisticuffs as some members of the Peoples Democratic Party attacked former Youth Leader, Sunday Ude-Okoye, who has been presenting himself as National Secretary
These irate members also forced Ude-okoye out of the ongoing Board of Trustees meeting.
Newsmen present at the venue of the meeting witnessed Ude-Okoye being attacked by some supporters of the embattled National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu.
Ude-Okoye was seen shouting and instructing ferocious looking men with intimidating physiques dressed in black to enter the meeting.
Meanwhile, personnel from the Nigerian Police, Department of State Security Services, and other agencies were attempting to restore order as of the time of filing this report.
