Incoming United States President, Donald Trump, has revealed what he will use his first day in office to do.
Trump disclosed what he described as “ambitious plans” for his first day in office on Sunday during an interview with NBC news less than 24 hours to his inauguration.
Arriving in Washington on Sunday ahead of his inauguration, Trump announced an intention to sign a record-breaking number of executive orders immediately after delivering his inaugural address on Monday.
Trump stated that the executive orders would target policies enacted by the outgoing Biden administration.
While he did not provide an exact number, he described the scale as “record-setting,” suggesting it could surpass 100.
The former president also emphasised a commitment to swiftly implement a mass deportation program targeting undocumented immigrants.
He declared that the process would begin “very, very quickly,” though he refrained from identifying specific cities or regions.
“You’ll see it firsthand,” Trump assured, hinting at the immediacy of his administration’s actions.
