In a shocking development, Timilehin Ajayi, a gospel singer who was arrested with a female human head in Abuja has declared that he has no regrets carrying out the henious crime of severing head of his purported girlfriend, identified as Salome Adaidu, a 24-year-old National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member.

Ajayi, who was interrogated by law enforcement operatives following his arrest, expressed no regret for the gruesome act.

Ajayi made this statement after he was arrested near a church in Orozo area of Abuja, on January 12, 2025.

The head of the victim was said to have been found in a nylon bag, and Ajayi was said to be carrying it before being noticed by church members who alerted others, leading to his arrest.

Ajayi, also identified as a TikTok content creator, admitted to dating the victim for about a year, during police interrogation.

He claimed the act resulted from a heated argument where he was defending himself.

He added that the situation was unplanned and stemmed from feelings of jealousy.

He said: “I killed her because we don’t have each other all the time, it’s not something I planned. It happened on that day and it happened. Not that I have the plan in mind, she was cheating.

“She hides most of the things from me most times. I got to know from her phone. I saw her chats with other guys on the phone, that was why I decided.

“I don’t have any regrets because life is reciprocal that is what I thought. If you must do something to someone, you have to be reciprocal with that person.

“You have to understand what that person is going through so that you can put yourself in the position that the person is going through. That is why I don’t have any regrets because we were compatible.”
