President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to participate in the 2025 edition of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2025).

The summit is scheduled to take place from January 12 to 18 and is themed “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress.”

This was disclosed in a statement issued by Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where he is received by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE,” Olusegun wrote.

The New Diplomat reports that the event is expected to be attended by global leaders, policymakers, business leaders, and civil society representatives to explore strategies for accelerating sustainable development and socioeconomic progress.

During his visit, according to the statement, Tinubu is expected to highlight his administration’s reforms in areas like energy sufficiency, transportation, public health, and economic development.

He is also billed to engage in bilateral discussions with UAE leadership to address issues of mutual interest.
