All is set for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to embark on another foreign trip, the second in 2025.
Tinubu is jetting out of Nigeria to attend the 2025 edition of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit in the United Arab Emirates.
The 2025 edition of the Sustainability Week is scheduled to unfold in the United Arab Emirates from January 12 to 18, bringing together leaders, experts, and stakeholders from various sectors to explore collaborative solutions for a sustainable future.
This was made known in a statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The senior presidential aide further revealed that the President will depart Abuja on Saturday, January 11, to participate in the summit.
Onanuga added that Tinubu’s trip is on the invitation of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The statement reads in part: “The Summit will bring together global leaders to accelerate sustainable development and advance socioeconomic progress. The event, ‘The Nexus of Next; Supercharging Sustainable Progress,’ will enable policymakers, business, and civil society leaders to explore pathways to fast-track the transformation to a sustainable economy and evolve a new era of prosperity for all.
“ADSW, a testament to the power of collaboration, has been held annually for over 15 years. It provides a global platform to foster multi-stakeholder cooperation in addressing global challenges and accelerating growth.
“It has birthed high-value agreements and strategic partnerships between governments, industry leaders, and clean energy pioneers worldwide, driving impactful alliances and advancing the sustainability agenda worldwide.”
