A former President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan on Wednesday, visited former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina state.

Lawan, the president of the 9th Senate arrived at the residence of the former President at 12:40pm

It was gathered that Lawan and Buhari discussed a wide range of issues during the visit.

Also, Lawan, who represents Yobe North Senatorial District of Yobe State in the National Assembly, during the meeting conveyed the best wishes of his constituents and family to former President Buhari and his family.

He was said to have expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the former Nigerian leader for his guidance and visionary leadership during his time in office from May 2015 to May 2023. He also acknowledged the former leader’s unwavering dedication to the progress and development of Nigeria, highlighting the significant impact of his efforts on the nation’s growth and prospects.
