President Bola Ahmed Tinubu touched down in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, preparing to participate in the scheduled Joint Arab-Islamic Summit, which is set to commence on Monday, 11 November 2024.

This summit, hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, is designed to tackle urgent challenges facing the Middle East, offering a platform for dialogue and collaboration among prominent leaders in the region.

It would be recalled that a press statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said Tinubu is expected to speak on the Israel-Palestine conflict subject matter, urging for immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution.

The senior presidential aide added that the Nigerian President will advocate for the revival of a two-state solution to secure lasting peace in the region.

The President is accompanied by top officials, including Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser; Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation; and Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed, Director General of the National Intelligence Agency.
