The Senate has confirmed Bianca. Odumegwu-Ojukwu, widow of late Biafran warlord, Odumegwu Ojukwu and six other ministerial nominees recently appointed by President Bola Tinubu.

The confirmation is coming following a hearing held at the upper Chambers of the National Assembly on Wednesday, premised on last week’s decision by Tinubu to rejig his cabinet.

In a move seen as strategic to reposition and rejig his cabinet, Tinubu had disengaged five ministers last week and promptly nominated new persons as replacements.
