Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, widow of former Biafra president Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu has arrived Senate ahead of her screening for a ministerial position in the cabinet of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Bianca will be screened following her nomination as the Minister of State Foreign Affairs by Tinubu.

She is among the list of names Tinubu sent to the Senate

It would be recalled that the names of the seven ministerial nominees to be screen by the Senate includes: Bianca, Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole and Suwaiba Said Ahmad.

The New Diplomat reports that Odumegwu-Ojukwu is a Nigerian politician, diplomat, lawyer, businesswoman and beauty pageant titleholder.

She is a widow of former Biafra president Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. She is a multiple international pageant titleholder, having won Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Miss Africa, and Miss Intercontinental.

Formerly a presidential advisor, she was Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain in 2012.
