Vice President of the United States and Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris and former US President and Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump are set to have a go at each other at a high-stake presidential debate on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

The two leading presidential candidate will face off in Philadelphia on Tuesday in their first televised debate.

This comes after Trump had initially battled with US President Joe Biden, in what was widely accepted as a successful debate.

A few days later, Biden withdrew his candidacy and backed his Vice, Harris, for the top job in the US.

While Democratic Party had been trailing in several opinion polls after Biden’s performance at the debate, the poll has since gone even, with several citizens expressing their willingness to vote for Harris.

The Vice President’s candidacy has generated significant acceptability, according to several opinion polls. Harris and Trump will now battle in what has been perceived to be a chance for US voters to finally see the two go head-to-head.
