President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to embark on a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
Tinubu, according to the Presidency, is expected to pay official visit to Equatorial Guinea following an invitation from President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
This was revealed in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.
Ngelale also confirmed Tinubu will hold discussions on key bilateral issues with Mbasogo during the meeting.
He also disclosed that some agreements are expected to be signed during the meeting.
According to him, the agreement is intended to enhance collaboration between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
The statement reads in part: “The President will be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other members of his cabinet who will be involved in the signing of agreements and review of opportunities to improve bilateral relations.”
