The Federal Government has repatriated 190 stranded Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This was revealed in a statement issued on Tuesday by a Zonal Director (North-Central) of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr Bashir Garga.
Garga in the statement disclosed that the stranded Nigerians were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday at 5:57 a.m.
He also confirmed that the returnees have been profiled and documented by the relevant agencies and sensitised to behave with decorum and responsibility on their return to Nigeria.
The statement reads in part: “The Federal Government urges all Nigerians, wherever they may be, to act as exemplary ambassadors of their country, by upholding the fundamental values of patriotism, rule of law, decency, and integrity.”
