Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the immediate past Deputy President of the Senate, has showered praises on Honorable Francis Ejiroghene Waive, who represents Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency in the House of Representatives. He described Waive as an exceptional leader who has served his constituents with extraordinary diligence and commitment.

In a statement released to mark Waive’s birthday, Omo-Agege lauded the first-term lawmaker for his prodigious legislative efforts, intelligence, and consistent focus on the greater good of those he represents.

He said:”Though a first-timer in the ever-vibrant Green Chamber, you have sponsored more bills than many who have had the rare privilege to represent us,” Omo-Agege said of Waive. “Your voice is articulate and makes great sense whenever you speak. You give our people so much pride in the House.”

Omo-Agege, who is the Obarisi of Urhoboland, highlighted Waive’s accomplishments, including expanding and improving educational facilities, restoring electricity to communities that had gone dark, and connecting constituents to federal opportunities and empowerment initiatives.

“For you, our people’s best interest comes first. This is quite visible in your attention to the expansion of learning facilities in our schools so that our children may learn in comfort; electrification of our towns and villages; reconnection of communities that have been in darkness for years in our federal constituency to the national grid; and connecting our constituents to many federal opportunities, including social empowerment,” Omo-Agege stated.

He praised Waive’s “excellence in the three core areas of legislative business – lawmaking, representation, and oversight,” calling it “exemplary and undeniable.”

Omo-Agege, the 2023 Delta State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed gratitude on behalf of Waive’s constituents, congratulating the lawmaker for “investing your best efforts for the betterment of our people at this time.”

“Your excellence in the three core areas of legislative business – lawmaking, representation, and oversight – is exemplary and undeniable. Thank you indeed. May God Almighty bless and keep you to always lift up our people and humanity to His eternal glory,” he added.
