A Nigerian doctor based in the United Kingdom (UK) , Dr. Tijion Esho, has had his medical licenses revoked after being found guilty of an alleged unethical practice.

It was gathered that Esho was allegedly offering free Botox injections in exchange for sexual favours from female patients.

The 42-year-old had gained a reputation as a medical expert on cosmetic surgery, frequently appearing on popular TV shows like ITV’s This Morning, BBC’s Morning Live, and E4’s Body Fixers to provide commentary and opinions.

He was a regular consultant on Body Fixers, an E4 channel series that aired for two seasons in 2016 and 2017 in the UK. Esho also made appearances on segments of BBC’s Morning Live until the summer of 2022, according to the Telegraph.

During his appearance before the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS), he admitted to engaging in an inappropriate emotional relationship with a woman known as Patient A. This involved exchanging unsuitable sexual messages via Instagram.

Esho clarified that although there was no physical sexual interaction with Patient A, who offered sexual services through platforms like OnlyFans and webcams.

However, the MPTS panel in Manchester ruled that Esho did in fact have sexual intercourse with Patient A at his clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2021, during which he administered free Botox injections to her.

The panel also ruled that months earlier, during a consultation, Esho had stroked Patient A’s hair, made inappropriate comments about her body, and rubbed himself against her.

Furthermore, the tribunal found that last year, Esho made similar sexually inappropriate remarks to Patient A and allowed her to masturbate him.

Despite his claims of no physical contact, the panel concluded Esho had engaged in unethical sexual activities with the patient, violating professional boundaries.

Consequently, the tribunal determined that Dr. Esho’s misconduct impaired his fitness to practice, leading to the decision to remove his name from the medical register.

The specific reasons behind this sanction will be disclosed by the tribunal next week.

According to the Telegraph, one of the “inappropriate” Instagram messages sent to Patient A between July 2019 and February 2022 included an exchange in September 2019, during which he allegedly stated: “What you doing to me lol. Morning Glory. Bloody has me wanting the real thing. That’s like every man’s dream.”

Also, in November, Esho was said to have posted: “Why you making me bulge lol. Send more, don’t be sorry lol.”

The following month, he wrote, “Lol loving the tongue” and “Ha free mls [millilitres of botox] I’d need the whole booty and more”.

Weeks later, he told her, “My God having you for a night/every night is a dream but if we do it for me I break the doctors’ code and I’d be a dead man x lol.”

The tribunal further ruled that the behavior of the doctor, also known as as Oluwafemi Esho, was driven by sexual motives. However, they did not deem Patient A to be vulnerable due to her profession.

Esho was born and raised in North London and is of Nigerian heritage. He attended Edmonton County Secondary School during his youth.

Esho started his career at the National Health Service (NHS) as a surgical trainee, completing his junior training before transitioning to training as a general practitioner.

Esho commenced his career at the NHS as a surgical trainee, fulfilling his junior training before transitioning to training as a GP.

He founded the Le Beau Ideal Lifestyle Clinic, which later underwent a rebranding in 2013 to become The ESHO Clinic, with locations in both London and Newcastle upon Tyne.
