France international and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker, Kylian Mbappe has categorically stated that he has no problem with head coach Luis Enrique.

This is coming against the backdrop of the player being linked with a move to Real Madrid in June.

Mbappé, who scored a brace for PSG on Tuesday night against Real Sociedad to seal the club’s qualification for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League (UCL), admitted that he has many issues, but his coach Enrique is not one of them.

Despite rumors of a rift between him and the coach, the 25-year-old striker further reiterated that his relationship with the coach is good.

He said: “I always want to play in the Champions League — it is a very important competition. I could never be a player who hides.

“My relationship with the coach is good. There is no problem even if people might think that there is. I have many issues but the coach is not one of them.”

It would be recalled that a few weeks ago, Mbappe reportedly informed PSG of his intention to leave the club at the end of the season.

Following this development, the coach reportedly said that the club will have to start introducing other options and not solely rely on the striker.

“Kylian will score 50 goals, make 25 assists with any coach, any team.

“Apparently, his immediate future won’t be here so we’ll have to test other solutions,” he told Canal Plus.

Mbappé has scored 21 goals in 22 appearances since the start of the Ligue 1 season, with four assists.

Also, he has scored six goals in eight matches for PSG in the 2023/24 UCL.
