Popular Nollywood actor, Mr John Okarfor, most called by his stage name, Mr Ibu, has passed away at the age of 62.

The actor was said to have passed away at Evercare Hospital in Lagos State after a protracted battle with illness.

The New Diplomat reports that the 62-year old had battled health issues that led to the amputation of his two legs.

The actor had been battling health issues since October 2023 and had undergone multiple surgeries.

The news of his death comes less than 24 hours after the demise of Quadri Oyebamiji popularly known as Sisi Quadri, another Veteran Nollywood Actor.
