The World-record signing Neymar says his move to Paris Saint-Germain came about after he was impressed by the French club’s ambition.

Neymar completed his historic move from Barcelona on Thursday after PSG met his release clause of €222 million, a deal that smashes the transfer record previously held by Manchester United’s Paul Pogba (€105m).

“Since I arrived in Europe, the club has always been one of the most competitive and most ambitious.

And the biggest challenge, what most motivated me to join my new team-mates is to help the club to conquer the titles that their fans want.
