The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Transition Council, Boss Mustapha, Thursday, released a scheduled transition timetable for the inauguration of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mustapha at a press briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, said the transition will commence with a dinner in honour of the outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari on 23 May.

The President-elect will be conferred with the highest national honour of Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR) on 25th May ahead of his 29th May inauguration.

Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima will also be invested with the Grand Commander of Order of the Niger (GCON) on the same day.
