Jubilations as Nigeria’s Striker, Victor Osimhen scores the Scudetto-winning goal for Napoli at the Udine Stadium.
For the first time in a very long while, the City of Naples will be the home of the Italian Champions after Napoli drew 1-1 in their away match with Udinese to win the title for only the third time in the club’s history.
That historic Napoli game set the Diego Maradona Stadium on fire as fans went wild in jubilation to celebrate the wonderful feat.
A Facebook page followed by The New Diplomat, confirmed that indeed, Osimhen has become the toast of football fans in Nigeria.

This is a fabulous player both FIFA CAF failed to take to the last world cup…. they intentionally and maliciously denied Nigeria a spot at the FIFA senior World cup… that Osimhme’s goal at the reversed fixture in Abuja against Ghana could have stood but FIFA and the so called Referee and VAR officials looked the other way for their selfish interest.
Kudos to Victor Osimhen, the next African player of the year.
