Oboshi claimed that the PDP Governorship candidate, David Ubugadu won the election with over 70% of the local government areas including that of the seating Governor and his Deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe.

Against this backdrop, she faulted the cancellation of Ashige ward in Lafia Council, adding that the total accredited votes for Chiroma ward in the House of Assembly were 15,000, stating that the total accredited votes in same Governorship election were escalated to 51,000.

She also disclosed another discrepancies in the Gayam ward, adding that a total of 8,000 votes were cast at the house of assembly elections while 30,000 votes were cast for the Governorship election at the same ward.

The woman leader stated that they bear brunt of bad governance, hence, they Protest naked, “because women were being forced to remove their clothes while in the farm, and raped by herders in broad daylight. ”

“Women cannot continue to tolerate the the injustice system of our state where only a privileged few and their children are catered for while our children are being left on the streets without education.

“In our culture, when an Elderly woman goes naked, and seeks God’s intervention in the land, it comes to pass. The nakedness of our mothers, widows, and every woman would never go in vein,” she declared.

While calling stakeholders and members of the international community to save democracy in the state from imminent collapse, the woman leader implored Nigerian judicial system to be forthright in the dispensation of justice in electrical matters.

It would be recalled that for over a week, the women bearing leaves and dressed half naked have been protesting the declaration of Governor Abdullahi Sule as winner of the last governorship election in the state, describing it as a stolen mandate.
