As the ongoing Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections progress, the Lagos State Labour Party, LP candidate, Gbadebo Rhode Vivour has alerted on alleged orchestrated plans to rig the elections in favour of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The LP candidate who made this allegation shortly after casting his vote at his polling unit in Anifowoshe in Ikeja, disclosed that available reports showed that there were voters Suppression in Alimosho council area where the Staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC staff reportedly abandoned their duty posts on the guise that they were not paid for the last presidential election.

Rhode Vivour said that this was a deliberate ploy to suppress Voters In that area.

The Governorship candidate disclosed that at Lekki, the INEC staff refused to conduct the poll in an Estate as they were forced to remain at the expressway in order to allow for intimidation of voters by thugs.

He said the story remains the same at Okota, adding that INEC in collaboration with the APC, suppress Voters in Lagos, particularly in areas where the LP has shown remarkable strength.

He also disclosed that there are reports that BVAs machines have been loaded even before the election.

The LP candidate who declared that he would not congratulate any aspirant who emerged in a dubious Electoral exercise, threatened to go Court if the democratic exercise falls short of being credible.
