The All Progressives Congress, (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has warned against attacks following the declaration of the Labour Party, LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC as winner of Lagos State.

Tinubu who stated that the outcome of the ongoing election in Lagos would not be a source of provocation, told the masquerading miscreants that the beauty of democracy is that everybody, irrespective of nomenclature as a right to vote for his choice candidate.

Against this backdrop, he enjoined the people of Lagos State to rescind their decision on unleashing mayhem on innocent people who are engaging in their legitimate business.

The former Lagos State Governor harshly criticised any form of violence against people any ethnic group in Lagos.

His words:”the fact that the APC narrowly lost Lagos State to another party should not be the reason for violence. As a democrat, you win some and you lose some.

“We must allow the process to continue unhindered across the country while we maintain peace and decorum,” Tinubu declared with a tone of finality.
