Amid loud outcry of outrageous irregularities reported in some polling units in the ongoing presidential election, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has alleged that some state Governors have perfected plans to compromise the election results.

Atiku urged the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu to as a matter of expediency, upload the results of the presidential election.

The PDP presidential candidate who made this call in a release by his Media Aide, Paul Ibe, noted in dismay that the not a single result of the election of the presidential election has uploaded since it was concluded in most parts of Nigeria.

He assured that uploading the election results at the INEC portal would checkmate charlatans masquerading as Democrats.
Atiku stated that there are moves by some desperate politicians to subvert the general will of the people.

He advised that the Yakubu led INEC should not encouraged such anti democratic forces.

It would be recalled that more than 24 hours after the conclusion of the presidential election, available reports showed that the INEC portal is empty.
