As the electoral Umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is yet blow the whistle to halt political campaigns currently on going, the Labour Party, LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi was in Asaba, Delta state capital with members of his campaign entourage and his amiable wife, Margaret to seek the support of the people for the realization of his political dream.

At the podium in the Asaba Mega Rally, the LP presidential candidate who experienced difficulty in calming the excited crowd who were engrossed in chatting his name, “Obi ! Obi ! Obi!” rather than listening to his message, assured the people that his administration would make it a topmost priority to revive the Warri Sea port which had been domiciled for almost a decade and half.

The Warri Sea port which used to be a beehive of business activities, suddenly became comatose in the mid nineties, largely due to the raw and unrefined government policies that are designed to arm twist the common man.

Obi noted dismay that the dysfunctionality of the Warri sea port have left indigenes of the area jobless especially those whose mainly preoccupation lies in the dockyard.

He recalled that the Warri Sea port used to be a hustling ground for youngsters who eke their daily living from the port, adding that multiplying effects of functioning the port are even more.

The LP presidential candidate disclosed that his administration would also revive other Sea Port across Nigeria as this effort would help to reduced the alarming rate of unemployment.

The presidential candidate also promised to complete the East West road which he claimed had been under construction for almost twenty four years ago.

Against this back drop, Obi urged the people of Asaba and Delta state at large to vote for a presidential candidate who possessed the capacity and competence to deliver but not on ethnic ground.

Earlier, his wife, Margaret in a mesmerizing dance moves at the podium, urged the youths and women to vote massively for the Labour Party, adding that INEC have already disclosed that they constitute over 75% of registered voters.

She assured that if they with numerical electoral would turned out en mass on election day, than, Obi would emerged as your President.
