A mild drama ensued at the Chatham House where the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Aspirant, Ahmed Bola Tinubu was billed to unveil his manifesto in London yesterday as the supporters of Reno Omokri, Former aide to ex President, Goodluck Jonathan, clashed with the supporters of the APC.

A video sighted by The New Diplomat showed Omokri’s voice was drowned in the chorus of Tinubu’s supporters who displayed different placards with the inscriptions: “Tinubu for President.” They also sang, “On your mandate we shall stand.”

 

While reacting to the near violence that erupted at the Chatham House, Omokri said that the former Lagos governor will never forget the protest.

“Tinubu will never forget the protest. We just pulled off at Chatham House.”

It would be recalled that The New Diplomat reports that Tinubu, will on Monday, addressed the British Royal Institute on the 2023 general elections.

The address, which took place at the Chatham House, focused on national security, economic and foreign policy imperatives.
