The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has extended its ongoing strike one more time.

It was gathered that the decision was taken during the National Executive Council meeting of ASUU which held at the union’s headquarters at University of Abuja on Monday.

The decision to extend the ongoing strike was said to have been based on the outcomes of the meetings of most of the ASUU branches held last week.

It would be recalled that ASUU had declared a nationwide strike on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the University of Lagos.

Since the commencement of the strike, ASUU has not reached a concrete agreement with Federal Government.
