Deputy President of the 9th Senate and gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has commiserated with the family of Orosuen of Okere Urhobo Kingdom, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, on the passage of their patriarch, HRM Late Emmanuel Okumagba.

In a condolence message issued by his Director of Communications and Media Strategy, Ima Niboro, on Thursday, Omo-Agege also condoled with the Delta State Government, the Okere Urhobo Kingdom, the Urhobo Nation and people of the state.

The Delta Central lawmaker applauded the royal father’s invaluable contributions to the development of the state during his reign. He said the late king would be remembered and celebrated for his worthy services as the Chief Custodian of the traditions of the Okere Urhobo people.

Omo-Agege urged the Okere Urhobo community to continue to honour Okumagba’s legacy of commitment to peaceful co-existence, prosperity and harmony.

The Senator prayed God to comfort the family, friends and subjects of the departed monarch.
