Some Nigerian youths on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter have reacted to the decision by singer Timi Dakolo to perform at the ceremony marking Atiku Abubakar’s declaration for the presidency in 2023.
The presidential aspirant made this known today, 23rd of March, after he tweeted via his verified Twitter account, @atiku. His tweet read: “Unity Song by @timidakolo
One People. One Future. One Country. #OneNigeria #AtikuDeclaration.”
Since the video surfaced on social media, some Nigerians have expressed their grievances on Twitter following the action.
Atiku, who served as vice president under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, will be running for president for the sixth time.
He is among the top contenders for the Peoples Democratic Party platform (PDP) presidential ticket.
