After 649 seats of the total 650 seats have been declared so far, UK Prime Minister, Theresa May is battling hard to hold on to power, after her Conservatives Party was only able to garner 318 seats falling short of 8 seats of the required 326 seats needed by her to continue in her Prime Minister position.

Mrs. May has just met with the Queen of England, Elizabeth II to seek her permission to form a new government backed by the Democratic Unionist Party who will turn in its 10 seats to enable the Conservatives beat the 326 odds that must be recorded.

But her contemporary, Jeremy Corbyn whose Labour Party had 261 seats, the closest to the Conservatives has asked May to call it quit, saying he is “ready to serve”, while Liberal Democratic party leader, Tim Farron said she “should be ashamed” and should resign “if she has an ounce of self respect”.
