One of the national leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and a presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that he is fully ready to get dirty to land the exalted number one seat in the land.

Tinubu who had declared his intention in January during a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, has now revealed that after consultations across the country, he is ready to go all out in his quest to emerge as the next Nigerian President.

The two-time governor of Lagos state made this known while speaking during a visit to Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and the Olubadan-designate, Oba Lekan Balogun.

Asiwaju vowed that no other contender would intimidate him out of the race, despite criticism that he is not healthy to lead the country.

His words, “No amount of intimidation can stop me. I am ready to get dirty. I am out to become President of Nigeria. We are at a crossroads.”

Speaking earlier during the visit yo Alaafin, Tinubu said it was important for him to seek blessings from the traditional institution as he kickstarts his journey to become the next president.

“I cannot embark on a project of such magnitude without seeking for prayers and cooperation of the traditional rulers.

“I am here to inform our fathers of my decision to run for the position of the President of this country in 2023. What I need from our highly revered traditional rulers are their prayers and cooperation,” he added.
