Some aggrieved youths have burnt the school where the remains of the murdered five-year-old girl, Hanifa Abubakar, was found.

It was gathered that the youths stormed the Noble Kids Comprehensive College, situated in Kwanar Dakata community in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano state, in the early hours of Monday.
The youths were protesting the manner the girl was murdered.
News broke out last week about the murder of Hanifa who was abducted on December 2, 2021.

Abdulmalik Tanko, the school teacher of Hanifa, allegedly confessed having conspired with some other persons to abduct the girl. The abductors later contacted the relatives of the pupil demanding N6 million ransom.

The Kano State Police Command would later confirm that it found the remains of the girl in a shallow grave at the premises of Noble Kids Academy.

Hanifa was said to have been poisoned and her body dismembered before being buried.
