Bayelsa State Commissioner for Trade and Commence, Mr Otokito Federal Oparmiola, has been kidnapped by armed men.

The Commissioner was kidnapped on Thursday night at his residence at Otuokpoti, Ogbia Local Government area of the state.

The gunmen invaded the community at about 11pm on Thursday and after scaring people away, proceeded to the commissioner’s residence, a source reportedly revealed.

When contacted, the Bayelsa State Police Command spokesman, SP Asinim Butswat promised to give more details on the abduction soon.
