President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday arrived Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital on a working visit.

The president who arrived Maiduguri at about 1pm is expected to commission various projects completed by the state governor, Babagana Zulum.

He will begin with the commissioning of an edifice donated by Mohammed Indimi to the University of Maiduguri.

Shortly after, the President will proceed to commission some projects executed by the Borno State Government, including a 10km dual carriageway, a flyover, and a mega secondary school.

Meanwhile, hours before the president’s arrival, there was palpable tension as three explosions rocked different parts of the state capital.

It was gathered that at least four persons were killed by the explosions.

According to reports, the explosions occurred in Bulumkutu, Ajilari Cross and Ajaye areas of Maiduguri.
