A veteran Nigerian actor, Sam Obiago, better known as Daddy Sam, is dead.

The talented actor passed on in the early hours of Thursday, December 23, 2021.

The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, confirmed the news of his colleague’s death on Thursday.

” He suffered from a stroke for some time now, which has been managed, but sadly he died in the early hours of today, ” Rollas said.

The actor had a career in the banking sector before venturing into acting.

Obiago is survived by his wife and two handsome sons, Dilim Boluwatife Obiago and Shalom C. Obiago.
