Arsenal appear to have returned to their winning ways on Saturday defeating Newcastle 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium, London.

It’s a deserved victory for the London side which dominated the game from the blast of whistle till the very end.

Mikel Arteta’s side took the lead through Bukayo Saka who found the back of the net in the 56th minute.

The gunners added the second in the 66th minute through Gabriel Martinelli who scored with his first touch after coming on the pitch in the second half.

The two goals proved enough to secure Arsenal all the three points, bouncing back from a 4-0 defeat at Liverpool last week.

The gunners now sit in the fifth position with 23 points on the 2021/22 premier league standing.

On the other hand, Eddie Howe, who made his first appearance as the manager of Newcastle could do little to push his side to get their first win of the season. With the defeat, Newcastle are left at the 20th position and their search for their first win of the season continues.
