BBNaija season 6 housemate, Ikechukwu Sunday Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross has recounted how he was apprehended by some South African police operatives for violating a curfew rule.
The reality star who took to his official Twitter handle said he ran into trouble with the police operatives in South Africa, the first time he visited the country.
He explained that he was unaware that there was a curfew in the country at the time of his visit. During his interrogation with the police, Cross said he lied of being a South African. He said he told the police that his name was ‘Siyabonga’, and that was his first time visiting the country.
Cross added that he was later freed by the operatives after a brief interrogation.
He tweeted, “So SA, I got stopped by your police. Apparently, there’s a curfew. They took me to their office. So guys I tell then say I get SA name called Siyabonga and my first time in SA and they smile and I think they wan let us go ooo Omo Japa Jaoa. My bed they call me thanks guys we free now.
