Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has disclosed that midfielder Alex Iwobi will miss Nigeria’s Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Central Africa Republic due to a little injury.

Iwobi is one of the five midfielders named by Gernot Rohr for the games billed for the Teslim Balogun stadium on October 7 and in Douala, Cameroon three days later.

Oghenekaro Etebo, Wilfred Ndidi and Kingsley Michael also missed out on the games against Central Africa Republic due to injuries.

Rohr in his words:“Iwobi is not coming for the game because he has a little problem,” Rohr revealed.

Meanwhile, Lorient’s forward Terem Moffi has being called up to replace Iwobi for the games.

Everton coach Rafa Benitez had earlier revealed that the Nigerian is a major doubt for Saturday’s (today) Premier League clash at Manchester United as he has a ‘little problem’.
