The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has announced the official date for its state congress.
The party disclosed that the state congress which will hold across the country has been scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2021.
This was contained in a terse statement issued on Monday by the National Secretary of the Caretaker/Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee, Sen. John Akpanudoedehe.
Akpanudoedehe, in the statement also disclosed that the sale of nomination forms for the congress would kickstart on Wednesday, September 15.
He also added that forms are available at the party’s secretariat in each states as well as the National headquarters in Abuja.
The state congress is coming after the APC had held its ward and local government congresses. Recall that the ward congress held on July 31 while the local government congress held on September 4.
