Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has met with other members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Idheze Irri, a town in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State ahead of the by-election scheduled for September 11.

During the meeting, Omo-Agege joined the stakeholders of the party and the campaign train of Hon. Dr. Ogaga Ifowodo, the flagbrearer of APC in the upcoming Isoko South Constituency I by-election.

In his opening charge, the Deputy Senate President urged the stakeholders of the party and the campaign train of Ifowodo to work together to deliver victory for the party in the upcoming poll.

Omo-Agege also urged the electorate to vote the APC candidate in the election, noting that voting for APC would bring them to power at the centre.

Shortly after the conclusion of the stakeholders meeting, the lawmaker also paid a visit to His Royal Majesty (HRM) Odiologbo of Irri; His Royal Majesty, the Odiologbo of Oleh and His Royal Majesty, the Ovie of Emede.

During the courtesy visits, Omo-Agege introduced the candidate of the party to the monarchs, and asked for their prayers and blessings.

Recall that seat of Isoko South I Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly became vacant, following the demise of Hon. Kenneth Odafe Ogba on 27th June 2021.
