This appointment is coming two days after the demise of immediate Registrar, Prof. Godswill Obioma, who died on Monday.

The cause of the death of Obioma still remains sketchy, as of press time, as it has been generating controversy. The wife of the deceased Elizabeth Obioma claimed her husband was assassinated by some armed men, while NECO claimed its late Registrar died after suffering a brief illness.

Meanwhile, NECO has announced the appointment of Ogborodi as Acting Registrar.
