All the abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, have been released.
The Chairman of the forum of the parents of the abducted students, Malam Abdullahi, confirmed this in a telephone interview on Wednesday.
According to him, all the students “are on their way from the forest where they have been kept for the past 50 days.”
Bandits had on On March 11, 2021 invaded the school located in Afaka on the Kaduna International Airport Road and abducted 39 students.
The bandits demanded N500 million as ransom.
Ten of the abducted students had earlier been released by their abductors.
