Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has appointed the daughter of late scholar, Professor Bala Usman as the state’s new Chief of Staff.
The news of the appointment of Hadiza Bala Usman, alongside other aides to the governor was announced in a statement signed by the Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the governor, Mr. Samuel Aruwan made available to newsmen on Monday.
According to the governor’s spokesman, the new chief of staff is a staunch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who had served the party in various capacities.
Aruwan stated that she served at various times as Administrative Secretary of the Buhari Presidential Campaign Organization, Secretary APC Elections Planning Committee, Member APC Strategy Committee.
A product of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) where her late father taught, she as was also Director of Finance in the Nasir El-Rufai Campaign Organization, and later the Kaduna State APC Campaign Council.
El-Rufai also announced the appointments of Bashir Dabo as Special Assistant, New Media, and Mrs. Saude Amina Mohammed as Personal Secretary to the governor.
