Five abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Kaduna State, have been reportedly released after 28 days in captivity.
It was gathered that the five students were reportedly freed on Thursday and were picked up by police operatives in Giwa Local Government, who are taking them to Kaduna town.
However, the state government has not confirmed this as at the time of filing this report.
Suspected bandits had invaded the Federal college of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, on March 11, at around 11:30 pm, abducting over 39 students of the school.
Recall the Kaduna State Government had on Monday, announced the rescue of five abducted students of the Federal School, Afaka.
