Nigerians have begun to send lovely messages as Tuesday, 2nd of March marked the 79th birthday of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.

A flood-tide of congratulatory messages from Nigerians andĀ other Christian generals have made it to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter making Adeboye one of the top trends.

Celebrating Pastor Adeboye, the Governor of Ogun State Dapo Abiodun tweeted:Ā “Happy birthday to @PastorEAAdeboye.Daddy, as you celebrate another year of Godā€™s divine blessings, it is my sincerest prayer that you experience the best year of your life yet, as you continue to grow both mentally and spiritually.Best wishes on your birthday, Sir!”

The head of House on the Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin celebrated the revered clergyman, noting he has lived an “extraordinary life.”

“Dear Daddy G.O.ā€ Baba Sir, on this august day that prestigiously marks the day of your birth, we celebrate your extraordinary life and times as we rejoice in the unquantifiable impact of your devotion as a kingdom statesman and father to many;
particularly now that in your vintage years you have become in Him a colossus, bestriding the whole world with the gospel, and simultaneously, the brilliant luminary that models for millions the heart and work of our great shepherd Jesus Christ; … especially now more than ever in the changing times in which we live. You are truly His letter to the Church, His message to the world and a profound oracle of His counsel to so many. You epitomiseĀ  His purity. You model His meekness. You epitomise His purity. You model His meekness.
You exemplify His wisdom. You demonstrate His love. Many souls have been won and enemies subdued because of your sword. We find it so easy to celebrate you without any sycophancy. Happy Birthday Baba Sir. Great grace and peace!” he wrote.

Also, the Presiding PastorĀ  of Living Faith Church Worldwide better known as Winners’ Chapel Bishop David Oyedepo tweeted:
“Happy birthday to a great Father and Mentor. Your impact over my life, family and ministry is undeniable. As your days are, so shall your strength continue to be. I pray for greater grace for greater impact in Jesusā€™ name. Amen. Congratulations sir.”

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis Church Paul Enenche tweeted wrote: “ToĀ a Father in the Faith and a Transgenerational blessing- Papa E.A Adeboye: We celebrate God for what you stand for, and for what He is doing through you in The Kingdom Sir.Happy Birthday Sir.”

More messages keep pouring for Daddy G.O on social media to felicitate with him.

It would be recalled that Pastor Adeboye recentlyĀ said his days on earth would be advanced till the age of 90 God’s willing in one of his sermons.

In his words: “I am not going to die young. Some people were laughing when they heard me say that, donā€™t worry yourselves celebrating any birthday for me now. Wait till I am 90; then we will celebrate for a whole month.

ā€œThey think I am joking. Unless the Lord returns before then, at the age of 90, I am going to celebrate for a whole month.

ā€œThere will be a day for each fellow. A day for America, a day for Australia, a day for pastors, a day for the choir, a day for the people in the legal department, a day for heads of states, etc.

ā€œAt the age of 90, after that celebration, then I can begin to get ready to go. But, that I am going to die soon, that is a lie.”
