Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi, Tuesday visited Omolola Olawunmi, the widow of Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi who died in a military plane that crashed Sunday.
The governor who condoled with the family of the late officer of the Nigeria Air Force, also prayed for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace.
His tweet reads, “I spent time with Mrs Omolola Olawunmi, wife of our son from Ogotun Ekiti, Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi who died in the Air Force plane crash on Sunday. May the soul of the dear departed rest in peace. JKF”
Late Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi was an indigene of Ogotun-Ekiti, Ekiti South Senatorial District.
Recall The New Diplomat had reported how seven personnel of NAF died on February 21 in a crash that occurred near the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja.
Late Olasunkanmi Olawunmi, an indigene of Ogotun-Ekiti was part of the officers onboard the plane who died alongside six others in the crash.
