Tottenham defeated their English Premier League (EPL) opponent, Sheffield United, with goals from Serge Aurier, Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele at Bramall Lane, South Yorkshire, England, on Sunday.

Spurs scored an early goal through a corner in the 5th minute which Aurier converted. They moved on to score their second through Kane at the 40th minute.

Tottenham survived a scare from Sheffield after David McGoldrick reduced the deficit to one goal in the 59minutes.

Ndombele made sure Spurs secured all three points through his 62nd goal.

Praising his players after the match, Mourinho said the players showed good quality to ensure that they secured all three points.

He said, “The players showed good energy, consistence, strong-minded, dominant, pressing a lot. I am very happy with the performance.”

Kane also reacted to the win, saying “We had to make sure we went with high aggression, high ambition and we definitely did that today.”

Tottenham had dropped points in a 1-1 draw against Fulham on Wednesday at the White Hart Lane stadium, London, England.
