Nigerian filmmaker, Debby King, has announced the great loss of her good friend and actress, Sotonye Ifeoma Dublin-Green, who passed on as a result of the COVID-19 disease.

According to Debby, she lost her bestie, Sotonye Ifeoma, to the virus on Monday, January 11. She also blamed the staff at the Yaba isolation centre in Lagos for being behind it.

In her words: “people at the isolation centres were not well taken care of and that it was better for people not to contract the virus at all.”

The actress claimed the isolation centre was a death trap and added that her friend’s oxygen that was bought by her family was taken away from her and given to other people who paid them.

Debby then shared photos of her late friend and accompanied them with messages to show her grief.

She wrote: “I never thought I would be saying goodbye so soon. Rest in peace my bestie. May God forgive all your sins and accept your soul into paradise in Jesus name.”
